THE FIGHT CONTINUES : CRAFT-BAMBOO RACING AND ROWE MOTOR OIL COMPETE AT GTWC ASIA 2026 OKAYAMA

The GT World Challenge Asia 2026 returned to Japan from 27th - 30th August, with Craft-Bamboo Racing taking on another challenging weekend at the Okayama International Circuit.

As a ROWE Motor Oil Asia Pacific Brand Ambassador, Alex Liang Jiatong and teammate Daisuke Yamawaki shared the wheel of the #77 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, returning to the intense Silver-Am battle. Following two consecutive podium finishes at Fuji, the duo continued to deliver consistent performances, adding two more Silver-Am podiums for Craft-Bamboo Racing.

Race 1 : Setting the Pace
On Saturday, the opening race saw the #77 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO immediately enter a competitive Silver-Am battle.
After 33 laps, Alex Liang Jiatong and Daisuke Yamawaki maintained their focus throughout the race to finish 14th Overall and 2nd in Silver-Am, securing a strong result to open the Okayama weekend.

Race 2 : Fighting to the Finish
On Sunday, the second race brought another intense battle for the #77 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO in the Silver-Am field.
After 37 laps, Alex Liang Jiatong and Daisuke Yamawaki continued to push throughout the race, finishing 13th Overall and 3rd in Silver-Am to close out another competitive weekend at Okayama.

The Road Ahead
With the championship battle entering its decisive stages, there is no room to ease off. Every lap, every point and every opportunity will count as Alex Liang Jiatong and Craft-Bamboo Racing continue their fight for the 2026 title.

The #77 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO will return to the track for the next round at Beijing Street Circuit, China, from 02nd - 04th October 2026. The team will continue pushing the limits, chasing stronger results and another opportunity to fight at the front.
